There has been 4 dogs found dead in my area in the past month. WTF is wrong with these people?!

Authorities charged the owner of a young female boxer today with felony animal abuse in the death of the dog at Clydesdale Park in south St. Louis County. Witnesses had heard the suspect, Dennis L. Farrow, of the 10800 block of Tesson Ferry Road, threaten to kill his dog, Mya, police said.
When they questioned him, police said, Farrow, 30, admitted that he had tied the dog’s leash to a cross bar on playground equipment. The boxer was found by a passer-by about 8:43 a.m. Monday at the park at 9517 Green Park Road. Mya was hanging by her collar and leash. The dog died of strangulation, police said.
Officers said police had talked to Farrow in the park about 3:30 a.m. Monday.
In the felony charge in St. Louis County Circuit Court, Farrow is accused of “torture consciously inflicted by the defendant while the animal was still alive.”
Farrow’s bond was set at $10,000. If convicted, he could face up to four years in prison.
Jack Duepner, chief warrant officer in the prosecutor’s office, said there was no apparent connection between Mya’s death and the strangulation of a dog in west St. Louis County last month. On Feb. 5, a man walking his own dog found a light- colored Husky mix hanging from a tree along Woodbine Trail in Babler State Park. Rewards for in that case have reached $4,500." I've been staying at Jim's pretty much everyday. I guess you could say I basically live here now. He told me he loved me the other night. I wasn't surprised. I figured he was gonna tell me that pretty soon. I think I may love him too. I think I've just been scared to be with someone again and it's way easier dating around and not having to deal with all the emotional crap. It's nice though having someone want you and want to do anything and everything for you. I know he's not faking his feelings. I think this is the first guy in a long, long time I can truly trust.It's just up to me to give in and let my guard down.I think maybe I can be happy again.
